Successfully concluded the CITIE 2024

China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo 2024   (shortly known as "CITIE 2024"), which is hosted by Culture and Tourism Development and Support Center of Guangdong Province (Guangdong Xinghai Performing Arts Group), organized by Lingnan Group affiliated GZL International Travel Service Ltd, co-organized by GZL International Conference and Exhibition Services Ltd and Guangdong Arts and Crafts Exhibition Co., Ltd, has successfully concluded in Guangzhou on September 15th.

With an exhibition area of about 40,000 square meters, and three themed exhibition halls including International Culture and Tourism Hall, Culture and Tourism Hal and Culture and Tourism Consumption Experience Hall, the CITIE 2024 has witnessed an active participation of culture and tourism bureaus and enterprises at home and abroad, from 30 provinces and municipalities of China, nearly 50 countries and regions globally, gathering over 10 professional industry associations, 20 specially invited groups of buyers from Guangdong and other provinces, hosting 50 plus side conference events and promotions, attracting a total number of visits exceeding 100,000. For the 7th consecutive year, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, has put on the tourism show being the official "Partner Tourism Destination". Under the same ceiling, the 7th GHM Greater Bay Area Arts and Crafts Fair was also successfully held concurrently.

Reaching the level of year 2019 for international participation, this season's CITIE of 2024 has echoed widely from overseas tourism bureaus, embassies and consulates, enterprises, building up themed tourism areas such as China-Russia Culture Year Special Exhibition Area, Pacific Island Countries Exhibition Area, Quality Europe Pavilion, and African Light Luxury Adventure Area, with the attending units from nearly 50 countries and regions of five continents. Among them, countries such as Thailand, Singapore, and Georgia, which have implemented mutual visa exemption with China since this year, showcased the latest of tourists charms, emerging destinations as Northern Queensland of Australia, Champasak Province of Laos, Murmansk Region and Novosibirsk Oblast of Russia, Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Kanagawa of Japan, West African Cameroon etc. were making their first debut, China Southern Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Türkiye Airlines were introducing a wealth of aviation products to the CITIE audience.

Following the last success, the coming year's session , CITIE 2025 is to be scheduled to open on September 12-14th 2025.
